I have become paranoid and I exit the game every so often now instead of going for lengthy sessions leaving it on and autosaving, but I cannot guarantee that this will do anything, and if it happens again, I’m sorry, I can’t keep sinking time into a game that has the potential to erase days of progress on a whim. It’s one of the many things Gearbox needs to change as they march toward Borderlands 4, as it’s completely unacceptable for this to happen, and especially infuriating when all my playtime thus far has been solo, and theoretically I shouldn’t have even needed to be online at all for any of it.

The problem here is Gearbox’s archaic system which glitches out for seemingly no reason, and it’s done this for a while, as I’d lost progress in B元 this way too, though perhaps not as much.
